CALIFORNIA CAMPAIGN TO ELIMINATE RACIAL AND ETHNIC DISPARITIES IN HEALTH

With funding from the American Public Health Association (APHA), The California Endowment, The California Wellness Foundation, and Kaiser-Permanente, the Campaign is a statewide public/private sector initiative dedicated to raising awareness about health disparities and advancing systemic change that will improve health outcomes for all Californians.  Co-chaired by APHA and the California Health and Human Services Agency and staffed by Prevention Institute, the Campaign's strategy (under development) identifies nine priority health disparity issues for the State, and delineates institutional, governmental, and community opportunities to improve healthcare and the environments in which people live, work, and go to school.
