The Urban Networks to Increase Thriving Youth initiative (UNITY) is supported by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and is part of CDC's national youth violence prevention initiative, Striving to Reduce Youth Violence Everywhere (STRYVE). UNITY is funded in part by grants from The Kresge Foundation and The California Wellness Foundation (TCWF). UNITY materials are solely the responsibility of the authors and do not necessarily represent the official positions of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, CDC, The Kresge Foundation or TCWF.

U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention: As part of the Department of Health and Human Services, the CDC seeks to collaborate to create the expertise, information, and tools that people and communities need to protect their health - through health promotion, prevention of disease, injury and disability, and preparedness for new health threats.
