Moving from Them to Us: Challenges in Reframing Violence Among Youth explores how youth and violence have been portrayed in the news, how the issue of race complicates depictions about youth and violence, and how public attitudes about government can inhibit support for violence prevention. The web-forum will present key findings and recommendations to advance efforts to prevent violence affecting young people from the paper commissioned by Prevention Institute/UNITY and authored by Berkeley Media Studies Group.

Join the paper's authors on Thursday, December 10, 2009 (11:00 am - 12:30 pm PST) and learn more about the national violence prevention network UNITY.
