Ben Graff joined Prevention Institute in March 2022 and brings nearly two decades of finance and general management experience to his role as Finance Director.  Having spent nearly 10 years in various roles at Bank of the West, he could not be more excited to shift his focus towards the public good.

Ben has a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Johns Hopkins University and an MBA from the University of California, Davis.  His favorite courses were economics and process optimization and he loves nothing more than taking a system and making it hum.

Born, raised and currently residing in Oakland, Ben feels a deep connection to his home city and an obligation to make it the best home it can be for everyone here.  His favorite pastimes are playing and watching sports (go Dubs!), strategy games and hanging out with his wife and two kids.
