Program Coordinator

Maddy (she/her/hers) supports Prevention Institute’s policy and advocacy efforts at the federal and California State level. She additionally provides support on other projects working toward advancing healthy and equitable communities. Maddy's responsibilities include assisting the Executive Office by working with Executive Director Rachel Davis and Prevention Institute’s Board of Directors. Maddy graduated from the University of California, Santa Cruz with a BA in psychology and biology. Prior to joining Prevention Institute, she spent a year as a research assistant in the Academic Orientations Project and was a co-lead organizer for the first interdisciplinary, cross-campus undergraduate research symposium at the university. Maddy is passionate and committed to addressing efforts that move upstream and address root causes of inequity through policy and practice change.
