Vibhuti (she/her) is a Program Coordinator working with the Safety and Wellbeing team. Originally from Seattle, Vibhuti completed her BSc in Global Health, with minors in Psychology and Critical Studies in Equity and Solidarity from the University of Toronto. She continued her studies at the University of Toronto, receiving a Master of Public Health in Social and Behavioral Health Sciences (Health Promotion) at the Dalla Lana School of Public Health. She has a background in qualitative and arts-based research, and her passions include queer health, HIV/AIDS, and health equity policy. During her studies, she was a research assistant in the Stigma and Sexual Health Interventions to Nurture Empowerment Lab and Youth Wellness Lab. Vibhuti also served as a Program Coordinator at the Alliance for South Asian AIDS Alliance, where she developed cultural competence training for social service and healthcare providers. Before joining PI, she was a Student Policy Analyst in the Social Determinants of Health Division at the Public Health Agency of Canada, where she explored on how horizontal government strategies and intersectoral action are employed to reduce health inequities.
