Communities Creating Healthy Environments (CCHE)
CCHE is a national capacity-building initiative to support diverse, community-based organizations and indigenous groups with proven track records in developing and organizing for effective, culturally competent policy initiatives that address the root causes of childhood obesity at the local level. Prevention Institute provides technical assistance for this initiative through training, facilitation, policy development and the creation of resources and tools that target food and recreation equity issues.
The Healthy Eating Active Living Convergence Partnership
Prevention Institute provides ongoing guidance, strategy development, and policy analysis for the Healthy Eating Active Living Convergence Partnership, a collaboration of leading national funders with the shared goal of changing policies and environments to better achieve the vision of healthy people living in healthy places. PolicyLink, a national research and action Institute devoted to advancing economic and social equity, acts as program directors for the partnership.
