The Southern California Association of Governments (SCAG) will soon be hosting public participation workshops to gather input for the Sustainable Communities Strategy (SCS). The development of the SCS provides an opportunity for public health leaders to play a key role in encouraging healthy, sustainable growth in Southern California.
Join us at this free training to learn about opportunities to engage in SB 375 and the Sustainable Communities Strategy and how public health advocates can embed health, safety and equity in long-term transportation planning. The event also provides the opportunity to connect with other advocates and groups working in the fields of health, transportation, and environmental protection throughout the state.
