New Resource, New Space!
Policy Brief: Updating Nutrition Education in the Food Stamp Program: A Farm Bill Opportunity

The 2007 Farm Bill provides a critical opportunity to reform the Food Stamp Nutrition Education (FSNE) program to reflect strategies that create community and institutional environments that support healthy eating and physical activity. Read Updating Nutrition Education in the Food Stamp Program: A Farm Bill Opportunity, a new policy paper by Prevention Institute and the California Association of Nutrition and Activity Providers (CAN-Act) outlining the need for comprehensive approaches to improve eating and physical activity habits.
