The San Francisco Department of Public Health will hold its fifth annual summer training course for health impact assessment (HIA) practitioners on July 16-19, 2012. The overall goal of the course is to provide current and future practitioners of HIA experience using available procedures, regulations, and tools to implement an HIA. An outline of the 2011 HIA training agenda is available at www.sfphes.org/component/jdownloads/finish/18/212. Cost is $960 and includes course materials, breakfast, and lunch; accommodations and travel are not included.
