In September 2010, city representatives from across the country met to advance the UNITY Urban Agenda for Preventing Violence Before it Occurs:
Bringing a Multi-Sector Approach to Scale in US Cities. Together, city leaders worked to create a plan for achieving the goals of the UNITY Urban Agenda: investment in cities; support for local planning and implementation; and collaboration across federal, state and local efforts.
Created for the latest UNITY Strategy Convening, An Overview of Outcomes, Findings & Recommendations from the First 5 Years of UNITY provides a context for UNITY's past accomplishments, and includes findings and recommendations for future work.
