Help Menu Labeling Bill Move to the Assembly Floor for a Final Vote

The Assembly Appropriations Committee will make a final decision this week as to whether SB 120 (Padilla/Migden) will move to the Assembly floor for a final vote.  Assembly Speaker Fabian Nunez will play an important role in this decision.

Your voice is important!  The very well financed restaurant industry is actively opposing SB 120 and we need you to tell Speaker Nunez that you support SB 120. 

Please call Speaker Nunez at 916-319-2046 or fax a letter of support urging his support of SB 120, requiring nutrition labeling on menus.  If you would prefer to fax the letter yourself, click here to access a word copy of the support letter and fax to the Speaker’s office at 916-319-2146.

Contact the Speaker by 8/24/07 and urge him to support the passage of SB 120 requiring nutritional labeling on menus!
