E-mail Print

A complex issue such as violence requires a comprehensive solution, but how to select the most effective mix of strategies? UNITY is pleased to present to community partners in Salinas, Calif., on strategies that reduce violence, and on ways to winnow the options for maximum impact.

Selecting Strategies that Prevent Community Violence
Tuesday, June 12, 2012, from 9 to 10:30 a.m. PT

This webinar will introduce an evidence-based decision-making framework recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention that draws on context, experience and available research. It will also propose next steps for stakeholders in Salinas as they work toward building a peaceful community.

UNITY supports various county health departments working to prevent violence, and this webinar was made possible by the Monterey County Health Department and in part by the Division of Violence Prevention at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. See the UNITY Training & Events calendar for a complete listing of UNITY webinars and upcoming learning opportunities.
