Friday, August 17, 2012
11 a.m. to 12 p.m. PT

This webinar will present STRYVE grantees with tools and frameworks for making the case that violence is preventable. We will discuss approaching violence from a public health perspective as well as how to tailor tools and strategies to best fit specific audiences and local contexts. Participants will have the opportunity to interact with the materials and provide feedback, share experiences, and raise questions during the call with the ultimate goal of strengthening our efforts to prevent violence.

Striving To Reduce Youth Violence Everywhere (STRYVE) is a national initiative, led by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), which takes a public health approach to preventing youth violence before it starts.
