Part -Time Associate Consultant with Randolph Consulting Group (RCG)

Randolph Consulting Group (RCG) is seeking to hire a part-time associate consultant to support short and long term projects. The associate will work in collaboration with the company’s principal consultant. RCG works across the country to support communities on a variety of topics ranging from food access, transportation, parks and open space, community development. In addition, RCG supports the strengthening of organizations through the assessment of diversity, equity and inclusion goals. Lastly, we support our clients with strategic communications through the various development of strategic plans.

A successful candidate will possess the following skills:

  • Expertise in policy analysis and issue advocacy

  • Exceptional research skills, including comfort with conducting field research

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills

  • The ability to work independently and take direction

  • Skilled at analyzing complex issues, summarizing and making recommendations

  • Deep understanding of racial and health equity and can speak explicitly about these

    issues

  • Understanding of South L.A. and food access issues

  • Interest in deepening and learning about a variety of issues

  • Comfort working a remote work environment

    Responsibilities

  • Support client work through field research regarding food access in South Los Angeles

  • Support client work through research on family engagement in the outdoors

  • Draft final report and presentation for client

  • Coordinate with Principal Consultant on all work

  • Manage client relationships

  • Project Management for all aspects of assigned work
