Jill is a senior communications specialist focused on the mental health team and the initiative Making Connections for Mental Health Among Men and Boys. She was a journalist for more than 15 years, working as a staff writer for the Minneapolis Star Tribune and senior producer for ABCNEWS.com. More recently, she has served as a communications strategist and project manager for a variety of social justice initiatives and organizations, including the Washington ACEs Public-Private Initiative (APPI), Aspiranet, Empire Health Foundation, and the Washington Health Alliance. She was lead editor and a contributing author of the book Risks and Challenges in Medical Tourism, and wrote and directed the documentary short Extended Family. She has a Master of Public Health degree from the University of Washington, and a Master of Studies in Law degree from Yale Law School.
