Recently, the LA County Board of Supervisors voted to officially establish and fund the Office of Violence Prevention. In May 2018, the LA County Department of Public Health engaged Prevention Institute to plan and host a series of community engagement activities along with a set of subject matter expert interviews designed to find out the current state of violence prevention efforts across LA County. At the end of these activities and interviews, PI prepared a Stakeholder Perspectives Report with key findings and recommendations.

We invite you to join us for an in-person convening as we share back the summary of findings and recommendations from the Stakeholder Perspectives Report. This is an opportunity for you to learn more about the report and next steps for implementation of the OVP.

Dr. Barbara Ferrer, LA County Department of Public Health Director, will be joining us to commemorate this incredible milestone.
