Register for Webinar: Links Between Multiple Forms of Violence
Good Solutions Solve Multiple Problems:
Addressing the Links Between Multiple Forms of Violence
Monday, March 18, 2013
11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. PT / 2 to 3:30 p.m. ET
Join UNITY Managers Annie Lyles and Xavier Morales to learn about cross-cutting solutions that address multiple forms of violence at once and can prevent childhood trauma. All violence is connected, and recognizing the links between different forms of violence can strengthen prevention efforts. Factors that make family violence more likely may also operate at the neighborhood level, for example, and building resilience in young people can protect against multiple forms of violence whether in communities, schools or at home. Register for the webinar, hosted by Futures Without Violence as part of the U.S. Department of Justice’s Defending Childhood Initiative.
