The next round of federal funding for the Racial and Ethnic Approaches to Community Health (REACH) program is currently under threat, so it's time to get mobilized.
As it stands, the Senate appropriations bill for fiscal year 2017 completely eliminates REACH funding and the House appropriations bill cuts the program by more than $20 million, from $50.95 million in fiscal year 2016.
Organization sign-ons are now being collected for a letter urging congressional appropriators to maintain REACH funding at $50.95 million in fiscal year 2017. Click here to sign your organization on by October 26.
Please share this opportunity with your networks and thank you for your continued support of community prevention funding.
