In Texas, Prevention Institute worked with the Episcopal Health Foundation (EHF) on a four-year, $10 million initiative that provides healthcare organizations with coaching, technical assistance, a learning community, and grant funding “to enable them to lead in the space of community prevention.” It is the single largest investment in CCHH to date and this investment will yield capacity building materials, technical assistance resources, and evaluation findings that can be used elsewhere in country. PI is serving as a strategic thought partner and consultant to the Foundation by providing subject matter expertise related to the CCHH model, sharing relevant examples from other areas of the country, helping to capture lessons learned, and assessing the adoption and spread of the CCHH model in Texas.
