Summit on Preventing Youth Violence in Washington, DC

Launched by the U.S. Departments of Justice and Education at the direction of the president, the National Forum on Youth Violence Prevention creates a formal venue for cities to discuss challenges and promising strategies and explore how federal agencies and support local efforts. Other participating federal agencies include the Departments of Health and Human Services, Housing and Urban Development, Labor, and the Office of National Drug Control Policy.
