Now available in print and as an e-book, Prevention Institute’s new book, A System of Prevention: Achieving Health, Safety, and Wellbeing for All, uses graphic design to illustrate the lessons we’ve learned over the last two decades about what it takes to advance quality community-level prevention and health equity. The book is inspired in no small part by the incredible work underway in states, regions, and communities across the country to pursue systemic change that counters the production of inequities and affirms that the systems that shape our communities—education, transportation, housing, and so many others—can and should work for everyone. |

With generous support from The California Endowment, Prevention Institute developed the System of Prevention framework to support health leaders and their partners to delve into systems-level work as they innovate, build practice, advance policy and systems changes, and generate momentum for comprehensive prevention and health equity.
