Storying Community Trauma into Community Resiliency An Indigenous Framework

The Talk-Story presentation will share the Pili Na Ha or Four Connection Framework developed through a community health center in Hawaii and how it has become a guiding framework in urban youth programming in Honolulu. The presentation will share the intentions, impacts and method in which a Hawaiian indigenous framework for health can inspire program activities that center on post-traumatic growth and resiliency. In addition, how do we pass on stories that can heal, evoke and provoke resiliency? We invite you to come, listen and share stories in our brief time together.
