Join us Monday for an LA County Office of Violence Prevention Stakeholder Convening

On March 18, PI will host an event to discuss key findings and recommendations for the LA Office of Violence Prevention

Monday, March 18, 1 – 3 PM
LA County Office of Violence Prevention Stakeholder Convening
Belvedere Park Social Hall
4914 E Cesar E Chavez Ave Los Angeles, CA

Recently, the LA County Board of Supervisors voted to establish and fund the Office of Violence Prevention. In May 2018, the LA County Department of Public Health engaged Prevention Institute to plan and host a series of community listening sessions engagement activities, along with a set of subject-matter expert interviews designed to find out the current state of violence prevention efforts across LA County.

At the end of these activities and interviews, PI prepared a Stakeholder Perspectives Report with key findings and recommendations. We invite you to join us for an in-person convening as we share back the summary of findings and recommendations from the report. This is also an opportunity to learn more about next steps for implementation of the Office of Violence Prevention.

Dr. Barbara Ferrer, LA County Department of Public Health Director, will join us to commemorate this incredible milestone.

*Please RSVP for this event by emailing Roxy Rivas at roxy [at] preventioninstitute.org*
